Seats were ripped off and fans climbed onto stadium structures.

Disgruntled Espanyol Barcelona have warned they are ready to sue the match organizers over anything at the stadium that has been defaced. “The club will demand compensation from the match organizers for any element of the stadium that has been damaged”said Espanyol in its press release.

According to the Spanish agency EFE, the Barcelona club is covered by the insurance taken out by the organizers for this match, but no significant damage has been noted. The stadium also reportedly suffered only minor damage and should be cleaned up quickly.
