France will play a friendly match during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, despite being in the tournament. How is that?
The coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, decided that the substitute players who did not play the first two matches once morest the national teams of Australia and Denmark play a friendly match following the second match, in order to stay in the atmosphere of competition.

The French national team is seeking to win its third World Cup title following winning the 2018 World Cup in Russia and the World Cup it hosted in 1998.
