Up to seven towns in the Metropolitan Area of Granada live intensely this Friday of Sorrows, a day of devotion in which the images, which in some cases are patron saints of the municipalities, are the protagonists.
This is the case of Maracena, who this year will break a ‘record’ in their procession on the occasion of the procession of the Virgin of Sorrows, their patron saint for whom they feel great devotion. Due to the great demand, all sections of mantillas have been expanded and the habits of the altar servers have been exhausted.
