The 2024 ranking of the World’s Most Trustworthy Companies was determined through an independent study based on extensive survey data from more than 70,000 participants in 23 industries across 20 countries. Participants rated companies headquartered in their country based on three trust categories: investor trust, customer trust, and employee trust. A total of 230,000 evaluations were analyzed, and a social listening analysis was performed for each company that received enough evaluation data. This phase of the project involved sentiment analysis of the company on various online media, assessing whether the content of the company’s online mentions was positive, neutral, or negative. The study examined all public companies headquartered in one of the target countries and with revenues of more than $500 million.
