The Frenchman Ibrahim Ghanem qualified this Friday for the final of the World Wrestling Championships, which are taking place in Belgrade (Serbia), following his victory (4-0) in the semi-final over the Turkish Selçuk Can. He competes in the under 72 kg category, in Greco-Roman wrestling.

As a reminder, his weight category is a non-Olympic category so he will not win a quota during these Worlds, unlike the Frenchwoman Koumba Larroque, who won the bronze medal on Thursday at the same time as a ticket to the Olympics. He will face Saturday, from 6 p.m., the Hungarian Robert Fritsch, winner in the semi-finals of the Japanese Shingo Harada (3-1), for the gold medal.
