French TV Ratings: M6 Leads the Pack in Monday Evening Viewership with ‘L’amour est dans le pré’

Monday evening, M6 rose to the top of the evening’s audiences as a bonus with the third and final evening devoted to the broadcast of portraits of farmers from the next season – the 19th – of “L’amour est dans le pré”. Starring Karine Le Marchand, this Fremantle production entertained 2,95 millions of viewers between 9:10 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., i.e. 14,7% public. On the FRDA-50 target, the market share reached 21,9%. Last Monday, the second round of portraits won over 3.09 million viewers (16.2% of those aged four and over and 21.2% of FRDA-50).

Over the whole day, M6 is third (9,4%) ahead of France 3 (8,5%). TF1 est large leader (17,1%), France 2 is in second position (14,5%). C8 is the best of the others (4,2%), TMC is sixth (4,1%) ahead of France 5 (3,8%), W9 (2,9%) and Arte (2,7%).

Good score for Catherine Frot on France 3

TF1 saves its second place at the last minute with “Sam”. The finale of season 7 of the series now played by Hélène de Fougerolles was appreciated, on average, by 2,53 millions of viewers between 9:14 p.m. and 11:08 p.m., i.e. 13,4% of the public aged four and over and 19,4% FRDA-50s. Seven days ago, the two previous episodes had mobilized 2.71 million viewers (15.4% of the entire public and 22.3% of the FRDA-50).

France 3 is behind with “La fine fleur” (2019). The new dramatic comedy with Catherine Frot and Manel Foulgoc moved 2,50 millions of viewers between 9:09 p.m. and 10:41 p.m., i.e. 12,3% of the public and 2,3% FRDA-50s. Last Monday, “An Ordinary Spy” captivated 1.36 million viewers (7.2% of the public and 1.9% of the FRDA-50).

France 2 is only fourth with the launch of the mini-series “Coeurs noirs”. Inspired by real events, this immersion into the heart of a French special forces commando in Iraq with Thierry Godard and Nicolas Duvauchelle kept you in suspense, on average, 2,36 millions of viewers between 9:12 p.m. and 11:04 p.m., according to Médiamétrie. This represents 12,5% of the entire public aged four and over and 7,3% Women responsible for purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA-50). For comparison, on Monday January 8, 2024, the first two episodes of “Tout pour Agnès” interested 2.42 million viewers (12.3% of the public and 4.4% of the FRDA-50).

In another genre, “Commissioner Magellan” intrigued 1,06 million of viewers between 9:22 p.m. and 11:05 p.m. (5,6% of the public and 1,7% FRDA-50) on C8. On TMC, “Shooter, sniper” (2007), another American film with Mark Wahlberg and Michael Peña, convinced 899.000 viewers (5,8% of the public and 6,7% FRDA-50).

France 5 is in ambush with “On the front”. The magazine, embodied by Hugo Clément and on the theme “Where do they bury our trash?”, informed 689.000 viewers between 9:05 p.m. and 9:58 p.m., i.e. 3,2% public (3,5% FRDA-50). Arte followed with “Stalag 17” (1953). The American war film with William Holden and Don Taylor is on board 676.000 viewers between 8:55 p.m. and 10:51 p.m., which is equivalent to 3,4% of the public and 0,5% FRDA-50s.
