Openness and innovation are at the heart of our approach
By listening to society and working with partners, we can predict, understand and respond to health challenges. Listening to the voice of society remains a fundamental value of the French Public Health Agency. We intend to further enrich our space for dialogue with the public and organized civil society and continue to open up to other areas relying on innovative approaches to achieve health in a One Health approach.
For French public health authorities, innovation means thinking differently, constantly improving our methods of investigating and evaluating preventive and health promotion interventions, our surveillance systems and our means of anticipating crises. This means being able to anticipate and adapt to future challenges.
All these actions are part of six strategic public health issues that form the agency’s planning and supporting policies that contribute to improving health in all its aspects as close to the territory as possible. The campaign report also traces a territorial approach that integrates the context of people’s lives and the impact of social inequalities until expert and reference information is available to all.
