[China News Agency]French President Emmanuel Macron’s re-election inauguration ceremony was held at the Elysee Palace in Paris on May 7, local time.
Macron’s re-election inauguration ceremony began at 11:00 a.m. in the Festival Hall of the Elysee Palace. French Constitutional Council President Laurent Fabius announced the final results of the 2022 French presidential election, confirming Macron’s successful re-election. Subsequently, in the presence of the President of the French National Assembly (the lower house of parliament) Ferrand and the President of the Senate, Larcher, Macron was awarded the French Legion of Honor.
Macron gave an about 10-minute speech at his re-election inauguration, looking ahead to his second presidency.
