Among the band of more than 70 volunteers who will be busy preparing and hosting the 48th edition of the rebirth of the Onion Fair for four days, the happiest team is obviously the dozen volunteers peeling 50 kg of onions.

Happy to cry of course! But make no mistake, the regulars know it, everyone will have a smile in their eyes and laughter on their lips on August 14 and 15 to contaminate as many people as possible with their good-humored virus. Guaranteed contagion for anyone who wants to discover this forty-eight-hour local pandemic.

Environmentally friendly

An aggravating factor is that a very serious program is planned. As eco-responsible proof, waste such as mussel shells and frying oil will be recycled, food scraps collected and recycled.

Festival-goers are recommended to come with their own glass, fork, spoon and knife (no other utensil is specified…) even if biodegradable cutlery will be available.

For the rest, we will judge for ourselves the program, but we recommend to take advantage of it, the duration being limited to two days. For concerts, individual hearing protection will be offered to those who want them to prevent risks related to noise and amplified sounds.
