The French OC Lan 2023 was held last weekend and following a brief article on the world record on Pyprime, we are going to talk regarding GPUs with an RTX 2080 Ti under LN2. It’s once once more l’overclocker Bl4ckdot who was in charge with a session held at the end of the event. We will take this opportunity to thank him and the sponsor he brought, Dstny, for material and financial support. Thanks to professional 4G coverage, we were able to cover the event with streams without stability problems.
Bl4ckdot has also ensured a live of 1h30 on the platform oriented around an Intel core i9 14900KF and an RTX 3080 TI HOF from Galax.
List of equipment used and feedback
We start with the hardware used, Bl4ckdot used an Intel core i9 14900KF made available by Intel. CPU cooling was provided by a white Deepcool LT720 AIO. The AIO performed very well and kept the CPU at good temperatures for a frequency of 5.9 GHz. For RAM, we are once once more on a Galax “Hall Of Fame” kit coupled with an Asus Maximus Z790 APEX. Suffice to say that with the motherboard, RAM, AIO and graphics card, we have an entirely white configuration.

For the thermal paste, Bl4ckdot used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme, and even following 3 hours of cold sessions on a GPU, it did not fail in its task. A very good point for this paste for cold uses.
Some scores in second place and well ranked
Bl4ckdot therefore pushed this RTX 2080 Ti under LN2 to its limits, managing to reach a frequency of 2385 MHz on certain benchmarks. We will especially remember Time Spy, Firestrike and their extreme versions of the 3DMark suite.
With these scores, B4ckdot managed to total 203 points in hardware. We will come back soon with an article on the results of 14th generation Intel under LN2.
