The video clip showed the interaction of referee Benoit Milot with the players of the two teams, and all the dialogues that took place between them were heard through the microphone.
According to the footage, Milot appeared while talking to the players in an attempt to control the atmosphere of the match.
Referee Milot, 41, was heard telling the players, “Guys, some of the tackles have become more severe, we need to be more careful during and after the tackles.”
The referee also issued a verbal warning to Joao Victor, the Nantes player, advising him to beware of his interventions so as not to get the second yellow card, then the red one.
Milot told Victor, “Mr. Joao, you have received a yellow card, you will not survive again such tackles, do not risk, be smart, be smart.”
