The Brandt BOP7534B built-in oven goes under €400 at Boulanger.com i.e. a drop of regarding 14% on the price usually observed. This is currently our best value for money for small budgets.
The wide catalog of Brandt built-in ovens welcomes the BOP7534B — similar to the BOP7538X, which we tested, but without telescopic rails. Far from being as sophisticated as a Samsung Dual Cook Steam, it is also much cheaper since it is found around 450 €.
If the BOP7534B — identical to the BOP7538X we tested — were a car, it would be a Peugeot 205 GTI. Behind a somewhat (too) classic appearance hides a “Made in France” racing machine whose cooking performance rivals that of much more expensive models. So yes, it is better to be comfortable with cooking to take full advantage of this model which does not really help novices in their preparations. But except for a teasing automatic start and a stabilization of the temperature which takes too long for our taste, it is very difficult to reproach the little energy-consuming Brandt BOP7534B for anything.

It’s probably not the most flashy, it probably lacks some interesting features and it might be a little more energy efficient. Nevertheless, the Essentiel B EFMP 581n built-in oven performs its task seriously and without major fault. Yes, it is always possible to find a much more attractive built-in oven, but this model will be suitable for small budgets or for those who wish to equip a second home or a rental at a lower cost.
