If you want to live the Apple dream, but don’t have a 5-figure monthly salary, it’s crucial to watch for offers and discounts so you don’t alienate your banker. The good news is that the French Days are in full swing, and that FNAC is currently offering plenty of discounts on MacBook Pros equipped with M1 or M1 Pro chips.
French Days: MacBook pro prices with M1 chip are down
It seems that FNAC wants to empty its MacBook Pro stocks a little, since a large part of the range finds itself hit by promotions on the occasion of these French Days. If you need to change your old model, or want to ditch your PC for a Macintosh, now might be the time to take action.
The offers are multiple, and we will therefore name a few of them here. The 14-inch 512GB MacBook pro with 16GB of RAM and its 8-core M1 chip goes from €2,249 to €1,999. The 13-inch model with Touch Bar 1TB of storage and 16 GB goes from 2139e to 1925€.
If you want more muscular configurations, know that the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the 10-core M1 Pro (16GB of RAM and 512 SSD) goes from 2749€ to 2549€, while the same model, but equipped with 1TB of storage goes for its part from 2979€ to 2779€.

What about MacBook Pros? They have been among the best ultrabooks on the market for years, and have particularly shined since Apple dropped Intel chips in favor of its in-house chip, the famous M1 processor. Available in an 8-core version, or 10-core with the M1 Pro, this chip seems to have succeeded in squaring the circle by offering excellent performance, with low power consumption, and particularly controlled heating.
If the products are particularly expensive, Apple computers defend themselves with an exemplary quality of assembly, and aluminum frames of the most beautiful effect. Fans of the brand will also praise the brand’s Retina screens (often Samsung or LG panels in fact) which deliver beautiful images.
A MacBook is also a well-locked platform logic, with a proprietary ecosystem that allows for a minimum of compatibility problems, and software that is rather well optimized for the machines that run them.
