Freelance.com (Euronext Growth Paris – FR0004187367 – ALFRE), leader in the relationship between companies and their external talents, publishes its consolidated turnover for the 3rd quarter of 2023 (period from January 1 to September 30, 2023).

In the 3rd quarter, the group’s turnover amounted to €198.6 million, stable compared to the 3rd quarter of 2022.
In France, Freelance.com achieved consolidated revenue of €132.6 million in the 3rd quarter, organic growth of 5% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2022, with the integration from September 1, 2023 of the group OpenWork for an amount of €5.5 million; Internationally, Freelance.com achieved consolidated revenue of €66.0 million in the 3rd quarter, down 9% compared to the 3rd quarter of 2022.
Cumulative turnover at the end of September 2023 amounts to €618.0 million, up 6% compared to the end of September 2022:
Up 14% on the French scope to €413.0 million; Down 6% on the international scope to €204.9 million.
Less dynamic activity in 2023
As expected, the level of growth slowed further in the 3rd quarter of 2023 on the existing scope. The France scope is experiencing a drop in customer demands in the majority of business sectors, in a still uncertain macroeconomic context.
International activity remains slow with a 9% drop in turnover in the 3rd quarter of 2023, impacted in particular by a less favorable 2022 comparable than in the 1st half linked to the sharp depreciation of the euro compared to the Swiss franc. during the 3rd quarter of 2022. However, the drop in the number of consultants observed at the start of the year was interrupted with a gradual increase since May 2023 which, if it is not yet reflected in turnover, allows us to envisage a resumption of growth in 2024.
Good prospects for 2024
After the integration of OpenWork on September 1, 2023, Freelance.com announced on October 23, 2023 the proposed acquisition of the STA group, with integration planned for January 2024.
These two operations allow us to strengthen our positioning in the freelancing market, and to return for the year 2024 to a level of consolidated growth more in line with the Group’s expectations.
