The Army Command – Orientation Directorate announced in a statement that “on 4/27/2022, following a series of monitoring and follow-up operations, a patrol of the Intelligence Directorate managed, during a special operation in the Iaat area – Baalbek, to free the kidnapped Sadiq Roli Sadiq Gabriel of Egyptian nationality, who had been kidnapped On 4/16/2022 in the Taybeh area – Baalbek, during the filming of a TV series. A patrol from the aforementioned directorate was also able to free the citizen Akram Jumaa between the towns of Dar Al-Wase’ah and Bouday, who was kidnapped on 4/26/2022 in front of his house in the “Lala” area – western Bekaa.
Follow-up is underway to arrest the kidnappers and refer them to the competent judiciary.”
