2023-09-10 01:17:00

Puppies and kittens need regular veterinary medical care and there is an option to get it for free.

This is as part of an event in Ciudad Universitaria where the Veterinary Medicine Day will be held.

The Faculty of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) will offer basic medical guidance as part of the veterinary day.

This way you can sterilize your lomitos or michis, if they need it. There will also be other free services such as rabies vaccines or deworming.

If your pet does not need these types of services, there will also be a dog training arena at this event.

The event will be at the Central Campus of Ciudad Universitaria ‘Las Islas’ next Saturday, September 23, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Other services that will be performed are:

Pregnancy diagnosis. Nutritional evaluation. Coproparasitoscopic study.

Where can I take my pets for veterinary medical care?

In CDMX there are veterinary clinics that offer care to dogs and cats, with specialized care for any type of pet that needs a check-up.

One of them is in Iztapalapa, the address is Avenida General Carlos L. Grácida s/n, almost on the corner of Eje 6 Sur, Avenida Luis Méndez, Colonia Santa Cruz and Unidad Habitacional Vicente Guerrero.

Some of the services offered are: healing, health certificate, deworming, rehabilitation, hospitalization, analysis, x-rays, ultrasound and biopsy.

In the event that the puppy, kitten or any other animal needs some type of specialized analysis or review, a recovery cost ranging from 70 to 900 pesos is charged.

Deworming and sterilization for dogs and cats are considered basic veterinary care services, so they are free.

Consultation hours are Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., as well as holidays.
