NEXON has announced the release of update patch 1.1.0 for the free-to-play loot shooter “The First Descendant” which introduces new playable characters and quests.
Season 1: Invasion begins, adding many new features!
The update introduces “Hailey Scott,” a new successor with ice abilities. She comes with various skills, including debuff effects that inflict extra damage on enemies, abilities that push opponents back, talents that slow your own movement speed while granting various buffs, and a powerful specialized rifle. Research to unlock Hailey has also commenced with this implementation.
Additionally, a new episode titled “Invasion” will be launched in Season 1. This content will follow the existing main quest and will introduce elements such as “Invasion Dungeon” and reinforcement features called “Inversion Reinforcement” as players advance through the episode. In “Invasion Dungeon,” players can also gather materials needed to unlock Hailey.
In “Inversion Reinforcement,” players can upgrade their equipment using special resources collected during the game. This will provide access to five types of reinforcements that enhance combat, survival, and other elements. These enhancements will reset every season. Season 1 will feature two major planned updates.
A new battle pass arrives! The preseason battle pass is coming to an end
The new season will introduce the “Invasion” Season Battle Pass. This battle pass offers rewards like helmetless skins for the successors “Bunny,” “Barby,” and “Sharen,” along with backpacks featuring adorable cats. Moreover, the preseason battle pass will conclude.
The update also brings several adjustments to improve the visibility of information within the Encrypted Storage Box, changes to some mission details, as well as modifications to enemy strength and behavior, along with UI/UX enhancements.
