The Free Student Internet Connection (CIEG) program, launched on February 24, already has more than 80,000 registered students of all educational levels in the province.
The period to sign up will be valid until May 31 and to carry out the process it is necessary to present the ID of the applicant or that of their mother, father or responsible guardian.
Interested parties may go to the three registration points available in the city of Córdoba to answer any questions regarding the program. These are:
- Patio Olmos from Monday to Friday from 1:30 p.m. at 6:30 p.m.
- Social Sports Center every Wednesday at 9am. at 1:00 p.m.
- Transportation Secretary Monday to Friday from 8 am. at 1:00 p.m.
How does it work
The benefit consists of the deposit of 1,000 non-cumulative monthly pesos in the virtual wallet Taca Taca, of the Banco de la Provincia de Córdoba. From this platform you will be able to know the balance and recharge credit / gigabytes on cell phones.
Recharges made from other applications or payment systems will not be considered valid. In addition, the benefit is non-transferable and if it is detected that the balance recharges were made to a telephone number other than the one declared, no more balance recharges will be made in that account.
Registration requirements
To access the program, the secondary school student must be enrolled and with an assigned class schedule for the current school year. Then you must complete the Single Applicant Form (FUP) on the CiDi platform, for which you must have Level 2.
Those who belong to the tertiary and university level must be up to 25 years old and at the time of carrying out the FUP, the address declared by the student will be considered, not the one that appears on their ID.
If there are one or more applicants under 18 years of age in the cohabiting group, the responsible parent or guardian must complete the registration form. The same happens if it is an applicant over 18 years of age in the group living with siblings who were previously registered for belonging to the secondary level.
Once noted, the Government of Córdoba reported that it will notify the modality of access to each registered and will make the contribution in the virtual wallet.
Parents or guardians who have more than one dependent child will be granted a single virtual wallet per family group where the total will be deposited for all declared beneficiaries.
