Free services offered to those affected by the rains in Cumanacoa

These services include those of several NGOs that offer free psychological first aid. This initiative is from the Center for the Service of Popular Action (CESAP), Psychologists Without Borders Venezuela and the National Humanitarian Action Platform.

The service is offered through the number 0412-9270304 at the following times:

-Monday and Tuesday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

-Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Other free services for the population of Cumanacao

In the telecommunications sector, the state-owned company CANTV announced that it will provide its services free of charge to the population of Cumanacao for two months.

“For two months (July and August), our services will be offered free of charge to the population of Cumanacoa,” he announced in a statement posted on social media.

They also reported that they will send a team to assist the affected areas and provide Aba Ultra and 100% fiber optic Internet services.

Digitel, for its part, has enabled the option of sending text messages and making calls in Cumanacoa for free until Saturday, July 6.

Movistar It also announced that it has made available to its users in Cumanacoa the service of recharging one month’s rent so that they can send text messages and make calls.

Aid for people affected by the tragedy

Banco Mercantil reported through its social networks that it has enabled donations for those affected in Cumanacoa through the NGO Dividendo Voluntarios through its mobile payment system.

To make donations through the Mercantil platform, users must follow these steps:

-Open the mobile app

-Go to the Tpago section and select Affiliated Businesses,

-Click on the “Voluntary Dividend” option

Several were also enabled collection centers in Sucre to receive donations of supplies for those affected, such as the headquarters of the Caritas and Rotary Venezuela organizations in Cumaná.

Some churches in that state also receive donations, such as the Cathedral of Cumaná, the Minor Basilica of Santa Inés, and the Santa Rosa de Lima soup kitchen.

Other places that also receive donations are: the Syrian-Venezuelan Arab Center of Cumaná, the College of Public Accountants of Sucre and the College of Lawyers. The organization of clowns of the Doctor Sonrisa hospital also receives donations on El Mangle street in the El Bosque de Cumaná urbanization.

The Chacao Mayor’s Office has set up a collection center in Plaza de los Palos Grandes to receive supplies and send them to Cumanacoa.
