Free reveals how many Freebox subscribers use its Oqee TV app

Free is pleased with the success of Oqee in mobility and on other media. Its new Oqee Ciné AVOD offer should further boost its usage.

First integrated into the Freebox Pop when it was launched in the summer of 2020, Free’s home TV interface was available the following year on smartphones, Samsung Smart TVs, before landing on other media. like the Apple TV and Android TV. If initially, only Freebox Pop and Delta Pop subscribers were entitled to it, today the ISP’s 7.18 million fixed subscribers can benefit from it.

During the presentation of the annual figures of Iliad, the marketing director of Free, Camille Perrin returned briefly to the year of Oqee. Bilan, Free’s TV app “is growing, with today 2 million active users”, she revealed. With a team entirely dedicated to its development, Oqee is presented as “a unique way to watch TV”.

A qualifier that has begun to make sense since the launch in early March of Oqee Ciné, the operator’s own AVoD offer available to all Freebox subscribers, integrated directly into Oqee on the move but also on all other media except the player Révolution and Devialet (direct access via a dedicated app). This new enrichment should therefore increase the number of Oqee users in the future.
