I would like to praise the federal government: It is so important that everyone in the future
18-year-olds receive a climate ticket for one year as a “gift”. Many will test the public transport and realize that the offer is getting better and better. But I would like to go one step further: I call for children and young people under 18 to be allowed to use public transport free of charge. On your 18th birthday you should receive a free climate ticket for one year. The administrative burden for all the free trips would be eliminated. If children and young people can reach places and experience adventures by using public transport for free, they would realize when they grow up how cheap it is to travel with the climate ticket. We can afford it!
