It won’t be long before we find out what PlayStation Plus’s November Essential Tier drop is all about, but in the meantime, we’ve found out which goodies will be leaving the service’s Extra and Premium Tier catalogs next month, marking seven losses in total .
Let me update you. The PlayStation Plus October Extra and Premium Offerings are available to download now, with the following highlights: Gotham Knights, Disco Elysium : The Final Cut, Alien Isolationet Dead Island: Definitive Edition. In total, 15 respectable games joined the service, and it was a pretty decent lineup overall. Add in the premium tier’s new cloud streaming option and the addition of the Sony Pictures Core catalog, and things are slowly improving after a rough few months for PlayStation Plus following the recent price hike. That doesn’t mean we’re happy to see these seven games leave the service, though.
As TrueTrophies reports, seven games will be leaving the extra and premium tiers of PlayStation Plus on Tuesday, November 21, so you’ll only have a little less than a month to enjoy these “free” gems. “Free” because, yes, I respect the fact that you pay a subscription. The games that are leaving are My Time at Portia, Connectank, Dandara Trials of Fear Edition, Ace of Seafood, Momodora Reverie Under The Moonlight, Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams Director’s Cutet Wild Weapons.
If you’re sitting there thinking, “Well, no major losses there,” I’d say wait a minute. There are a few gems you should discover before it’s too late. My time at Portia is a delicious life-sim/RPG. You will play as a young builder who must expand the city of Portia following a destructive event. Granted, it can take you up to 70 hours to complete the game, so you have your work cut out for you, but I would still recommend it.
Ace of seafood is also quite fun. In this online action game, you’ll form a group of up to six fish or crustaceans, searching the sea for other life forms. It’s an open world – oh and you can shoot anything with a magic laser beam, because why not? Remember you only have until November 21st.
