Free flu vaccination period extended for 7 risk groups until September 30

Dr. Jadet Thammathatchaari, secretary-general of the National Health Security Office (NHSO), said that from the cooperation between the NHSO and the Department of Disease Control In the year 2022 seasonal influenza vaccination to people in 7 risk groups for free during 4 months from May 1 to August 31, 2022.

Currently, there are still people in 7 risk groups, a number of people who have not received influenza vaccination services. Therefore, to achieve access to the vaccine service comprehensively and thoroughly. NHSO has extended the time of influenza vaccination services. One more month is released, which is from today until 30 September.

Ask people who are in 7 risk groups, namely, pregnant women, gestational age 4 months or more (services are provided throughout the year), all children 6 months to 2 years old, people with chronic diseases, as follows: COPD, asthma, cardiovascular disease. Brain, renal failure, cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and diabetes, people aged 65 years and over, thalassemia patients and people with immunodeficiency. (including symptomatic HIV-infected), obese people, and mentally handicapped people who can’t help themselves. If you haven’t been vaccinated against influenza, get it ASAP. Reiterating that the service is free of charge.
