Directorate announced Health in QalyubiaOn the launch of the first phase of the “Your Right to Organize” campaign, within the “Our Days Are Better” initiative, to provide free family planning and reproductive health services in Qalyubia, starting on Sunday, August 27, which is being implemented under the auspices of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health, and Major General Abdel Hamid Al-Hagan, Governor of Qalyubia, and Dr. Walid Abdel Maqsoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia.
Dr. Walid Abdel Maqsoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia, explained that this campaign comes within the framework of the directives of the Minister of Health and Population regarding the need for family planning and reproductive health services to be provided as a guaranteed right for all citizens, because of its positive impact on maternal and child health, raising community awareness and increasing demand for family planning and health services. Reproductive, stressing that the campaign aims to spread and provide free family planning services and means through hospitals, health units and mobile clinics.
Dr. Nawal Omran, Director of the Family Planning Department at the Health Directorate in Qalyubia, added that the examination will be signed and reproductive health medicines and long-term family planning methods will be provided for free, in addition to providing awareness services through media seminars and home visits to rural women pioneers. The first phase of the campaign will be in (Banha – Kafr) centers. Shukr _ Al-Qanater _ Shebin Al-Qanater _ Qaha _ Shubra Sharq), from Sunday, August 27 to August 31, and the second phase begins from next September 2 to September 6, in the departments (Shubra West – Al-Khanka – Al-Obour – Toukh – Qalyub).
