According to latest Free Energy Bulletin, released by the Brazilian Association of Energy Traders (Abraceel), the free electricity market in Brazil registered a notable growth in the last 12 months. The data reveal a 18% increase, with the adhesion of 5,041 new consumer units. Currently, the free market already represents 39% of national electricity consumption, totaling 33,197 consumer units.
