Manama: Calicut Community Bahrain organized a free breast cancer medical camp in collaboration with Shifa Aljazeera Hospital as part of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month celebrations under the auspices of the women’s section.
Many women participated in the program held at Manama Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital, which included an awareness class for women and free blood tests.
Geetha Janardhanan, Convener of Kozhikode Women’s Section of Paviza Island presided over. In the awareness class, Dr. Betty Mariamma Boban delivered the keynote address.
The participants of the camp were given discount coupons and privilege cards for blood tests organized by Shifa Al Jazeera Hospital.
Srilatha Pankaj, Joint Convenor of Kozhikode Women’s Section of Pavizh Island, welcomed and thanked Neena Girish. Executive members of the women’s wing presided over the program.
