A woman who works in the Parliament denounced on Wednesday the 27th the congressman Freddy Diazof Alliance for Progress (APP), for the crime of rape.
According to the victim, the incident occurred in one of the Congress offices located in Jirón Azángaro, in downtown Lima, early this Wednesday.
The woman pointed out that she drank alcoholic beverages with the congressman while they talked regarding labor matters, and then she would have been the victim of rape.

The complainant added that she was helped by a friend, who went to the congressional office together with a police officer. She added that she was dizzy, disoriented and in pain.

Then, she appeared before the San Andrés police station, in the Cercado de Lima, accompanied by personnel from that ministry to file the complaint and undergo the corresponding examinations.
