In Frauenfeld, shortly following nine o’clock on Monday morning, a 28-year-old drove his tractor and trailer from Oststrasse into the Towerkreisel and intended to leave the city. For reasons that are still unknown, the trailer tipped over onto the right-hand side shortly following the “Zürcherstrasse” exit and lost around ten tons of potatoes.
It is currently unclear how the accident happened. The resulting damage will amount to several thousand francs. Traffic was diverted while the potatoes were cleared away. The course of the accident is being clarified by the Thurgau cantonal police. No people were injured in the accident.
