Franz Robert Wild Live in Concert at Ludolac: A Night of Dreamy Pop-Folk and Ecological Awareness

2023-08-11 07:11:53

This Friday, August 11 from 8 p.m., Franz Robert Wild is in concert at the inter-municipal leisure center Ludolac (Saint-Lieux-lès-Lavaur) as part of “Ludolac Fridays” (free concert). The singer-songwriter from Toulouse, appreciated for his dreamy pop-folk, revealed his talents as a “song-writer” from his first album in 2014, with references to Bob Dilan Neil Youg and Georges Harrisson. We know that he crossed paths with a certain Francis Cabrel (during the 24th meetings of Astaffort “Voix du Sud”) and opened for Dick Rivers at the Olympia (the two musicians released the single “ Cheyenne Blue Sky” as a duo a few years later)

Humanist musician

The songs from Franz Robert Wild’s latest album, “Change” (2022), reveal a humanist and accomplished musician, aware of the ecological issues of the decade. This Friday at Ludolac, he will perform his repertoire of folk and pop-rock songs, an “Americana” musical heritage that becomes current music. Like every Friday evening, an on-site catering service will be provided by local producers for the Ludolac collective guinguette, a big success every weekend.

Saturday will be the return of the Toulouse DJ Missy Pop (another atmosphere) who will electrify the shores of the lake with her “Summer Mix” set.
