Frank Jackson will try to make a place for the Suns

After relaunching Cameron Payne as back-up Chris Paul, Suns to sign another point guard looking for exposure according to Shams Charania. It is Frank Jacksonenlisted via a non-guaranteed contract and who will therefore have to prove himself during the “training camp” in Phoenix.

Released from Duke in 2017, his NBA career got off to a bad start due to a foot injury that sidelined him during his rookie season. He was then confined to a “role player” status with the Pelicans until the end of the 2019/20 season.

In December 2020, Detroit gave him a chance and Frank Jackson was able to seize it, since his “two-way contract” had been converted into a two-year contract, with the 2022/23 season as an option.

Unfortunately for him, as the Pistons did not activate his option, back to square one for this player who averaged almost 11 points in 2022.

It will therefore be up to him to try to find a place for himself in Phoenix, who are only missing one player to display a full squad of 15 players and two “two-way contracts” (Duane Washington Jr and Ishmail Wainright) .
