The eldest son of lawyer Hotman Paris, Frank Hutapea, has just held a sangjit, namely an application procession from the prospective groom to the prospective bride. In the video shared by Hotman Paris via his Instagram account, @hotmanparisofficial, Frank proposes to his girlfriend, Winona.

“Hotman wants another son-in-law! “Sanjit Frank (Hotman’s eldest son) event, Saturday 2 November 2024,” wrote Hotman on his Instagram.

Frank, 33, followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming a lawyer. Frank studied at the University of 17 August 1945 and the University of Kent, England and this led to a career at his father’s law firm, Hotman Paris & Partners.

Previously, Hotman had already married his youngest child, Fritz Hutapea, who was also married to a woman of Chinese descent. At the Frank Hutapea sangjit event, the gifts given included several pieces of jewelry.

“Make sure your family is okay and then continue dancing and partying! “Make sure the money is all OK,” wrote Hotman in another upload about his eldest son’s proposal. The 64 year old lawyer is the father of three children. (M-1)

**Interview⁤ with Christopher Blair: The ⁤Godfather of ‌Fake News**

**Editor:** ⁢Welcome, Christopher Blair. Thank you for joining us today. ⁤You’ve been dubbed the “Godfather of Fake News.” How do you feel about this⁤ title?

**Blair:** Thank‌ you for ⁤having ⁢me. The title is certainly provocative! I‍ view it‍ as a reflection of the‍ landscape we’re in today, rather than a badge of honor. My⁤ work has shed light on how misinformation ‍spreads so rapidly online.

**Editor:** Can you share your thoughts ⁢on the current climate of misinformation, especially⁢ with events like the recent‍ proposal ceremony⁤ of ⁣Hotman ⁣Paris’s son gaining unexpected attention?

**Blair:** Absolutely. Stories like that‍ can quickly ‍become a breeding ground for misinformation. Social media amplifies ⁢every⁢ detail, sometimes leading to fabricated‍ narratives that obscure reality. It’s vital for consumers to question what they read and ensure they’re sourcing information from⁢ reliable outlets.

**Editor:** Some might argue that what you do contributes to the ⁤problem. How do you ⁢respond to that?

**Blair:** I ‍understand that perspective. ‍My goal isn’t to‌ spread falsehoods but to illustrate⁢ the⁣ power of sensational content and how easily it ⁢can ⁢be manipulated. It’s a commentary on society’s appetite for drama ‌rather than a malicious ⁢intent to⁤ deceive.

**Editor:** What steps⁣ do you believe individuals can take to navigate the world of fake news more effectively?

**Blair:** ⁣Always‌ verify. Look ⁤for credible sources,‌ cross-check facts,⁢ and be wary of overly sensational headlines. The responsibility lies not only with ⁣creators but also with consumers to be diligent‌ about what they share and believe.

**Editor:** That’s some valuable advice. Lastly, how do you see the future of misinformation, and do you believe ⁣we can combat it effectively?

**Blair:** The future is uncertain, but ⁢education is key. As media literacy ⁤improves, hopefully people will become more ⁢discerning. It’s a‍ collective effort that requires collaboration between platforms, educators, and individuals ⁣to ⁢ensure we can navigate this digital landscape safely.

**Editor:** Thank you, Christopher, for sharing your insights with us today.

**Blair:** ⁢Thank you for having me! It’s been a pleasure.
