Kroos founds Icon League with Twitch streamer
Ribéry and Kroos played together for FC Bayern between 2010 and 2014. The 40-year-old Ribéry ended his active career in October 2022 and has since worked as a technical trainer at US Salernitana in Italy.
The Icon League is a project by Kroos in cooperation with the Twitch streamer Elias Nerlich. With well-known names from the football scene, the entertainment sector and the music industry, the makers want to get fans excited regarding their new football format.

Rumors surrounding Ribéry’s return to Bayern
There had recently been rumors regarding the 40-year-old Frenchman returning to Bayern. The Kicker reported that the former winger can well imagine a coaching job at the FC Bayern campus.
The Frenchman, who still lives in Munich, is currently getting his coaching license and is also completing the license to become a head coach. He is currently working as a technical trainer at US Salernitana.
