This Tuesday, May 2, Francis Lalanne was taken into custody following the accusations of domestic violence on his ex-girlfriend. If the investigation continues, the singer was released the next day.
Francis Lalanne is back in court. According to information from Sunday newspaper (JDD), which quotes the parquet floor of Marseille, the singer was once more placed in police custody, last Tuesday, May 2, following accusations of domestic violence by his ex-girlfriend. The former figure of the Yellow Vests was heard by police officers from the South division of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). He was finally released the next day, May 3.
“The investigation continues”
However, the Marseille prosecutor’s office indicated that “the investigation is continuing” and that a “decision should be taken soon in this case”, reports The Dispatch.
Last February, the 67-year-old author had already been placed in police custody following the first accusations of “moral harassment” on his ex-girlfriend, then 24 years old. She had decided to break up with him. He would then have refused to leave the premises, and would have stolen his wife’s mobile phone and damaged the lock of the apartment, reports The Parisian. Questioned by our colleagues, Francis Lalanne had recognized the facts.
On February 20, when he was released from police custody, he was finally fined 800 euros and banned from approaching his ex-wife.
