Francesco Giubilei appointed scientific director of the Alleanza Nazionale Foundation –

The promotion of the activities of the Fondazione Alleanza Nazionale, the main foundation of the Italian right, continues. In addition to publishing the daily newspaper Secolo d’Italia, it has just appointed a new scientific director (a position held in past years by Marcello Veneziani and Giampaolo Rossi) with the aim of establishing a Scientific Committee and giving impetus to cultural and training activities.

This is Francesco Giubilei, publisher, president of the Tatarella Foundation and of Nazione Futura. Giubilei, who is a contract professor at the Giustino Fortunato University of Benevento and has done a fellowship at the MCC in Budapest, collaborates with “Il Giornale” and is a member of the editorial board of the magazine “The European Conservative”. He has published ten books translated in the United States, Spain and Hungary and was a member of the Scientific Committee on the future of Europe of the Italian government and Advisor to the Minister of Culture.

“I enthusiastically proposed to entrust the direction of the Scientific Committee to Francesco Giubilei. And I am happy that my invitation was accepted unanimously by the Board of Directors of the Foundation” commented the president of the Alleanza Nazionale Foundation Giuseppe Valentino.

“Our intention is to establish a Scientific Committee with leading figures from the academic, intellectual and journalistic worlds to offer a contribution of ideas and at the same time develop a new school of political training,” Vice President Antonio Giordano then specified.

“I thank the Board of Directors of the foundation, composed of authoritative representatives of the Italian right, for the assignment received. – explains Giubilei – I will try to offer a contribution of ideas but above all of projects starting from the definition of a Scientific Committee that can present projects and initiatives also through the publication of the Quaderni della Fondazione An. At the same time, an important initiative on which we want to work is to organize a large school of political training aimed especially at young people without forgetting book presentations, conferences and cultural events. As Giuseppe Prezzolini explained, there is not just one right but many right-wing parties that will be represented, in their souls and sensibilities, in the Scientific Committee”.

In the coming weeks, the first names of the personalities who will join will be announced, as well as the projects that the Scientific Committee of the Alleanza Nazionale foundation will implement.
