<p id="caption-attachment-1525391" class="wp-caption-text">Tennis star Frances Tiafoe took a swing at the NBA experience in Charlotte.</p>The Cleveland Cavaliers celebrated their victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. However, a different kind of victory lap drew attention before the game.
Tennis star Frances Tiafoe, currently ranked No. 18 in men’s singles , swapped his racquet for cheering on the Hornets the night before.
Tiafoe pulled double duty over the weekend, defeating former world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in an exhibition match on Friday night wearing a Hornets jersey. Just hours after his exhibition victory, he was courtside at the Spectrum Center cheering for his new favorite basketball team. He seemingly alternates fandom freely. Tiafoe listed former Washington guard John Wall as his all-time favorite,

**Tiafoe:** I like to think so! I always try to bring a lot of energy to the court, and I think people appreciate that. Tennis can be a pretty intense sport, so I try to have some fun out there and keep things entertaining.
**Host**: What’s next for you? Are you enjoying the downtime after such a big win, or are you already gearing up for your next tournament?
**Tiafoe:** Honestly, it’s a good mix of both. It’s nice to take a few days to relax and soak up the win, but I’m definitely already looking forward to my next challenge. There’s always another tournament around the corner in tennis!
