Paris – In view of the recent riots, France wants to prevent a resurgence of the unrest on the national holiday on July 14 with a nationwide ban on fireworks. The ban imposed on Sunday prohibits the sale, carrying and transport of fireworks until July 15. Excluded from this are the organizers of professional fireworks, as are traditionally organized on the national holiday in many French cities.
