Vienna (OTS) – “When ÖVP Constitutional Minister Edtstadler said in times of the black-green coercive Corona regime that there was no longer any room for unvaccinated people in Austria, you can clearly see what this ÖVP actually thinks of freedom and democracy. The really frightening thing regarding this ÖVP policy is the denunciation, denial and constant deception of the population that comes from Nehammer, Edtstadler and Co. What this party lives politically is at best a ‘democracy’. It was the ÖVP who harassed the population during Corona times and trampled on their basic rights and freedoms – this is the real danger for our democracy,” said FPÖ General Secretary NAbg. Michael Schnedlitz on relevant statements made by ÖVP Constitutional Minister Edtstadler in an interview in “Presse am Sonntag”, according to which FPÖ federal party chairman Herbert Kickl is allegedly a danger for this country. “But I understand Ms. Edtstadler’s fear, as she is the wrong choice as a minister. “It’s not regarding Ms. Edtstadler, it’s regarding Austria and the people,” said the FPÖ General Secretary.
