In view of the catastrophic chancellor’s record, new elections are needed as soon as possible and no “hollow phrases on posters”
Vienna (OTS) – “The ÖVP and its worst Chancellor of the Second Republic have nothing left for the Austrians but sheer mockery. Because the previous record of Chancellor Nehammer and his black-green federal government is a single loss for our security, our hard-earned prosperity and the future of our homeland as a whole,” said FPÖ Secretary-General NAbg today. Michael Schnedlitz on the ÖVP’s announced spring campaign. This has nothing to do with reality and apparently comes from “the same cloud tower into which the Chancellor fled a few weeks ago for his aimless speech in the woods and meadows”.
“Nehammer divided the population with his completely wrong corona policy. In the face of record inflation, he leaves the citizens out in the rain and also fuels them by driving Austria into an economic war with the senseless sanctions policy, and thus also severely damages our everlasting neutrality. In addition, he also bears full responsibility for the fact that an unprecedented “new migration of peoples” is coming across the borders into the country, which, with almost 110,000 asylum applications in the previous year, overshadows the disaster year 2015. If he had just a tenth of decency left, he would resign immediately and clear the way for new elections!” said Schnedlitz.
In his political actions, Nehammer said “the applause of the EU establishment and self-appointed elites” was always more important than the well-being of his own population: “He cannot hide that with hollow phrases on posters. Because the Austrians, who have to suffer from his total political failure every day, have long been waiting for the election day on which they can vote for the FPÖ and vote him and his amateurish black-green ministers out of office!”
