Scandalous statements by Schallenberg must have consequences – he mocks the victims of the war in Ukraine and the needy compatriots
Vienna (OTS) – “A worldview as if from another planet” revealed ÖVP Foreign Minister Schallenberg today at a conference in Vienna. According to krone.at, he took the view that the West should be grateful to Putin in a way, because with his war of aggression he ‘tore us out of our daydreams and pushed us back into history’. FPÖ General Secretary NAbg. Michael Schnedlitz: “This man took a wrong mental turn somewhere, just to embarrass others. He needs to be got off his high horse because he taunts the victims of the war and our compatriots who are suffering the economic consequences of the sanctions. Your resignation, Mr. Schallenberg! Immediately! If he himself does not understand the scope of his statements, then his chancellor must tell him what he has to do following such a speech.”
FPÖ General Secretary Schnedlitz criticized Schallenberg, who behaved like the proverbial elephant in a china shop with his disrespectful statements. “If the ÖVP Foreign Minister is of the opinion that life before the Ukraine war was just a daydream, then that shows once once more his lack of intuition and at the same time describes a self-abandonment. The wrong corona policy with endless lockdowns has already driven up prices. The war and sanctions have fueled inflation further. So the life of Austrians was not rosy even before the war – thanks to the economic war supported by this federal government, people are now even worse off. Austria was ruined by the federal government. Schallenberg has to apologize for his scandalous statements and then resign! And it is best if he takes the entire federal government with him,” affirmed FPÖ Secretary General NAbg. Finally, Michael Schnedlitz.
