Full steam ahead for an end to SPÖ autocracy and a People’s Chancellor Herbert Kickl
Neudörfl/Vienna (OTS) – FPÖ state party chairman LAbg. Alexander Petschnig was confirmed in his office at today’s FPÖ Burgenland state party conference with 91.4% of the delegate votes. For FPÖ General Secretary NAbg. For Michael Schnedlitz, this is a sign of unity: “I congratulate Alex Petschnig on this result, which impressively shows that the Burgenland FPÖ is once once more a strong unit. The team with Petschnig at the helm will go into the future strengthened and united – the challenges in the next two years are great!”
From the perspective of the state FPÖ, it must be regarding breaking the SPÖ’s autocracy. Schnedlitz: “We have a state governor in Burgenland who actually doesn’t want this job anymore. However, his advances to the federal party’s executive chair were rejected by his comrades. Now Doskozil is continuing as state governor – because otherwise he would be completely without a job. But the people of Burgenland deserve a governor who is 100 percent passionate regarding Burgenland – like our Alex Petschnig!”
By the time a new state parliament is elected in Burgenland in 2025, two important ballots will already be on the agenda next year: the EU election and the National Council election. “In Burgenland too, we need the full strength of our state party to achieve our goals. There is a lot at stake for Austria. The National Council election is regarding our People’s Chancellor Herbert Kickl. Tailwind from Burgenland will help us achieve this goal. All Austrians will benefit from this,” said FPÖ General Secretary NAbg. Michael Schnedlitz concludes.
