FPÖ Schnabel: “Wolf on the terrace goes way too far”

Sankt Pölten (OTS) –

A 28-year-old mother of two small children was completely afraid on Thursday evening in the Amstetten district. A wolf was howling on the terrace of her house; the predator was apparently only scared away when the patio door was tilted.

After the bloody incident with 14 dead sheep at the weekend in Ybbsitz, FPÖ Lower Austria agriculture and forestry spokesman LAbg. Alexander Schnabel has finally had enough: “The population is afraid that a wolf in the settlement area is not possible. The wolf must be hunted now.”

The Wolfstop association has been calling for the Lower Austria Wolf Ordinance to be tightened since spring. “Does something really have to happen to a child before action is finally taken?” said club chairman Wolfgang Fallent and Alexander Schnabel in unison.
