SPÖ-Ludwig’s lockdown fetishism is still endangering 1000 jobs

Vienna (OTS) – The Viennese FPÖ state party chairman Dominik Nepp describes the still non-payment of corona aid by COFAG from the years 2021 and 2022 as an “incredible scandal and a black-red-pink multi-organ failure”. According to media reports mainly catering and hotel businesses are affected – due to a dispute with the EU Commission as to whether the amount of aid relates to individual companies or the group of companies. “In March, the FPÖ drew attention to the fact that this was an unbelievable botch in the ÖVP Ministry of Finance and that the Vienna Chamber of Commerce with its ÖVP President Walter Ruck had misinformed the companies. Because of this black system failure, hundreds of companies are still waiting for a total of around 100 million euros,” criticizes Nepp.

Nepp also points out that Viennese companies are particularly badly affected by the lack of aid payments, since SPÖ Mayor Ludwig with his unspeakable permanent corona lockdowns has let the companies “starve” for far too long. “Mayor Ludwig willfully caused irreparable damage with his lockdown fetishism. Now the ÖVP Ministry of Finance and the red-pink city government are equally responsible if Viennese companies still slide into bankruptcy following Corona and 1000 jobs are endangered or destroyed, ”said the Viennese FPÖ boss, who is responsible for the immediate payment of the outstanding ones requests support funds.
