In response to the inquiry, the interior minister admits that the police are informed in advance by the climate extremists regarding blockades and, despite the flood of reports, does not classify them as extremist
Vienna (OTS) – From the red-hot answer to a parliamentary question by FPÖ traffic spokesman and Secretary General NAbg. Christian Hafenecker, MA through ÖVP Interior Minister Karner shows that the police were informed in advance by telephone of the “climate terrorists of the ‘last generation'” regarding their crazy road blockades, but allegedly there was too little time to intervene: “The ÖVP Interior Minister Karner’s dealings with these climate terrorists is a total scandal of consistent looking the other way and dangerous trivialization. It is therefore no wonder that these extremists block roads unhindered every week, creating traffic chaos so that countless motorists can harass and endanger human lives in the process!”
Hafenecker also described Karner’s statement as “highly dangerous trivialization”, according to which groups like the “Last Generation” do not have the “corresponding parameters for extremist actions” and that they would not question the basic democratic order. “If from the beginning of the year to June alone 1,700 reports and 400 arrests relating to the crazy actions of climate terrorists, who want to enforce their political agenda by deliberately breaking the law, are not yet ‘extremist’ for ÖVP Interior Minister Karner, then he should only take a look at Germany: According to media reports, a chat group of the internationally closely networked ‘Last Generation’ recently flew up there, in which bomb attacks and murder fanatics were being considered Asia were rolled. In addition, the climate apocalypticists of the ‘last generation’ want to form a so-called ‘citizens’ council’ and thus undermine the democratically elected representation of the people. This is extremism in its worst form and a danger for the citizens and our democracy!”, emphasized the liberal General Secretary and renewed the liberal demand for significantly tightening of penalties, close monitoring of climate terrorists by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution and their inclusion in the Office for the Protection of the Constitution: “Instead of arbitrarily criminalizing parts of patriotic civil society and critical citizens, the ÖVP Interior Minister would have a real need for action here!”
The fact that, according to the response to the inquiry, there are no statistics in the Ministry of the Interior, including regarding the obstruction of emergency vehicles around the road blockades, the resulting traffic obstructions, property damage or personal injury, only underlines that “the climate terrorists at Interior Minister Karner and the ÖVP apparently enjoy ‘freedom of fools'”: “Anyone who closes their eyes to the madness of this doomsday sect makes themselves their accomplices. There must finally be an end to black-green holding their hands down to protect these climate terrorists, who have long since left the ground of our democracy and whose extremist activities must be resolutely opposed,” said Hafenecker.
