FPÖ – Hafenecker: “Black-Green is putting a huge debt backpack on the Austrians!” | Freedom Parliamentary Club

The mountain of debt to be paid off by future generations, ripping off the population and “cheering for positions for black-green favorites” is the only achievement of this government

Vienna (OTS) “If today the ÖVP and the Greens are overexcited regarding the fact that they are incurring 25 billion euros in new debt with this budget, then I, like many citizens, ask myself what planet these parties actually live on,” criticized FPÖ General Secretary NAbg today. Christian Hafenecker, MA, criticized the federal government’s budget policy in his speech and described it as “concentrated incompetence”. Since the Corona crisis is over, there is a justified suspicion that the black-green coalition is simply redistributing citizens’ tax money and “dividing it up for party favorites and their own apparatus”. “National debt will rise to 435 billion euros by 2027. “This is not a success, but a heavy debt backpack that this worst federal government of all time is putting on the Austrians and that the next generations will have to work off,” analyzed Hafenecker.

Even the Court of Auditors proved that the COFAG, with which 19 billion euros were distributed, was “a black-green construct” and the Constitutional Court found in its judgment that this “black box” was unconstitutional. “In addition, there are the EU ‘membership fees’, which have risen from 1.8 billion euros in 2000 to 3.1 billion euros today – and that’s just the money to be part of the EU at all. For example, the EU reconstruction fund is worth 5.9 billion euros and 3.22 billion euros are being pumped towards Ukraine, including through the cynical EU peace facility, which is used to buy weapons. Austrian tax money is used to support the senseless death and immeasurable suffering in this war. This is completely the wrong approach, as Slovakia and its social democratic foreign minister recently recognized,” Hafenecker continued.

While on the one hand the federal government is accumulating an “unprecedented mountain of debt on the backs of future generations,” it is also shamelessly ripping off its own population on the other hand: “The ÖVP finance minister’s tax revenue next year will be 114 billion euros. This record value only comes regarding because the Black-Green Party reaches deep into the citizens’ pockets, for example with the ‘anti-social eco-tax reform’ and the CO2 ‘pointless tax’. In doing so, the government is further fueling inflation and is also putting the ORF ‘compulsory tax’ under the Austrians’ Christmas tree.”

The worst thing regarding this is “the greed of the ÖVP and the Greens to provide for their favorites in the ministries”. “Between 2020 and 2023, 2,159 new positions were created in the ministries, and 1,859 more are to be added between 2024 and 2027. In the Federal Chancellery, where the bloated PR apparatus with 104 employees earning 450,000 euros per month would be scandalous enough in itself, nine department head and three group leader positions with salaries of up to 9,000 euros per month are being created by ÖVP Chancellor Nehammer, the 1.7 million euros will cost. The Green anti-motorist minister Gewessler has already created forty new positions in her ministry this year, 25 of them over the summer alone. “This recoloring is only made possible by Vice Chancellor Kogler, who, as the minister responsible for the public service, approves this whole madness,” said the liberal general secretary, listing a few examples of the “black-green post-cheating”.

All of this shows that a “deep black state with a green stirrup” has been built up in recent years and needs to be dismantled. “’The truth is a daughter of time’ is an old saying that will also catch up with the ÖVP and the Greens. After the next National Council elections, it will be up to a federal government led by the FPÖ and a People’s Chancellor Herbert Kickl to take the right course once more in the interests of our population wherever the black-green coalition has sent our homeland into decline! “, said NAbg. Christian Hafenecker, MA.
