Evaluate family work better in terms of pensions – alleviate the tax burden for families
Vienna (OTS) – “Families ensure that the intergenerational contract holds, which is why family work must finally be better rated in terms of pensions and the tax burden for families must be reduced. It is the task of politics to greatly reduce parents’ worries and fears for the future,” said FPÖ family spokeswoman NAbg. Rosa Ecker on the occasion of tomorrow’s International Day of Families.
“The parental home is the largest educational workshop there is, because parents shape their children. This starts with learning to walk, the first words and social behavior. Children emulate their parents and grandparents, but the family environment is also important, such as godparents, who act as role models to guide, shape and correct them. A family contributes so much over the course of a child’s life. Family shapes everything from infancy through adolescence to adulthood. Family helps that the path of one’s own life can then be followed independently,” emphasized Ecker.
“We Liberals stand for the traditional family of father and mother, but the fact is that family can also mean that someone takes care of the offspring as a single parent. We must do everything we can to make it easier for young people to decide whether they want to have a family or have children. We also have to create the framework conditions so that the decision to have a second or third child is financially affordable for families,” affirmed Ecker.
“Anyone who decides to have a family and thus children will experience difficult, challenging and tedious moments. But a child’s laughter and a lovingly pronounced ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’ makes up for everything. Parents can be proud of what they have achieved and of their children who are doing well in life,” emphasized the liberal family spokeswoman.
