FPÖ – Berger: Full force of the law after the cross theft in Favoriten

Reporting “at large” is far too little

Vienna (OTS) The district party chairman of the FPÖ Favoriten, LAbg. Stefan Berger, reacts with disbelief to the brazen theft of a cross from the Kepler Church by a Syrian. “Damaging a Madonna statue and stealing a cross are not trivial offenses. In addition, it is unacceptable that the Syrian perpetrator was only reported at large, as in my view it is highly doubtful that this was not a religiously motivated motive. If that had been the case, he would not have had to desecrate and remove church property. This act makes it clear once once more that the immigrants who have come to us under the guise of asylum show no respect for our Christian religion or our Western values. Efforts to integrate such people are a wasted effort. It’s high time to stop immigration and reduce it to zero!”

Berger notes that the measures taken by the SPÖ-led district to install more and more social workers and “awareness groups” have proven to be toothless and is finally calling for rigorous action, including from the Vienna police.
