“Labor Day” is this year the “Day of Price Explosions” – FPÖ demands fair wages and massive relief for the population
Klagenfurt – On the occasion of today’s “Labour Day”, the Carinthian FPÖ leader, club chairman Erwin Angerer, criticizes the SPÖ and the ÖVP-Green federal government. “There is no reason to celebrate because working people can no longer afford to live! The ‘Labor Day’ is the ‘Day of Price Explosions’ this year! The former workers’ party SPÖ has long since said goodbye to the workers. Because otherwise the SPÖ Carinthia and above all Governor Peter Kaiser would work for fair wages and relief for the citizens – keyword massive inflation – and not for open borders. Because these bring nothing but more unwilling asylum seekers to Austria who then have to be financed by our taxpayers!” Angerer emphasizes.
For the FPÖ boss, the labor market service (AMS) in Austria has developed into an “asylum and migration service”. “50 percent of those entitled to asylum who have asylum status and thus full access to the labor market are unemployed, registered with the AMS and have minimum income. The system was not created for this, but for our own citizens,” Angerer points out. The FPÖ therefore demands fair wages for those people who still work. “The working man must not be the stupid one. We need an income to get by once more. Despite working, many can no longer afford daily living, housing, heating, electricity or groceries. It is unfair when working people are increasingly burdened, but at the same time illegal migrants are financed with our tax money,” said Angerer.
“ÖVP and SPÖ must finally provide relief and fair remuneration for those people who are willing to work in our country. Taxes have to go down, we need price caps on fuel, heating costs and basic foodstuffs and a fair and cheap electricity price in Carinthia,” demands the FPÖ leader. It cannot be that the electricity prices are constantly rising and that the corporations earn a fortune at the expense of the citizens.
However, “Labour Day” is also a “Labour Shortage Day”. “The SPÖ and ÖVP are also responsible here. The coalition should finally act and implement the FPÖ’s proposal for a 10,000 euro apprenticeship completion bonus so that apprenticeships become attractive once more. But the tax explosion and the bureaucracy in Austria are also crippling our economy,” said the FPÖ leader.
