The JDD, founded in 1948, must pass in October, at the latest, under the control of Vivendi, the group of billionaire Vincent Bolloré, following a successful takeover bid for Lagardère. Thursday evening, the daily The world affirmed that Lagardère envisaged, without waiting for this deadline, the opening of a “departure counter” which would allow journalists refusing this new shareholder to leave the editorial staff with a financial agreement.
