Bregenz – A four-year-old boy died in an accident on Sunday followingnoon in Nenzing (Bludenz district) on a family outing. The child fell into the Meng River while playing on the bank and was swept away by the current. The family was unable to pull the boy out of the water. He was recovered and revived by rescue workers following regarding 1.7 kilometers. However, the child died a few hours later in the Feldkirch state hospital, the police informed.
