Kalpatta: A four-year-old boy died following being cut by a neighbor in Meppadi, Wayanad. Adidev, son of Jayaprakash, died at Meppadi Nedumbala Paraikkal. Jitesh, a neighbor, killed Jayaprakash’s wife Anila and son Adidev at nine o’clock on Thursday morning. The police say that the attack happened when Anila was going to Anganwadi with her baby.
The incident took place at Meppadi Pallikawala. Jayaprakash’s wife was also seriously injured. Hand and head injuries. Adidev, who suffered cuts on his head and left ear, was undergoing treatment at the Kozhikode Medical College.
Both were taken to the hospital by locals. The police had arrested Jitesh on the same day. It is reported that there were some business transactions between Jayaprakash and the accused and following this there were problems. The police say that personal enmity resulted in the murder. The police had also recovered the knife left behind by Jitesh following cutting Anila and Adidev.
